6 posts in this topic

I have been jobless and broke for the last 6 months and I feel down and frustrated.i have been applying for job interviews but still no offer.i still don't know what is my passion and the dream job I want. I have been following personal development for the last year and half and I improved alot in my personality, confidence, eliminated beta behaviors and became alpha, i have positive energy and always happy, alsl improved with opposite sex ,also I play sports and take care of my body,i'm keeping my self postive and uplifting myself everyday so I won't feel depressed or victimised cz I was depressed a year and a half after a hard break up but not anymore. I know I'm responsible for my life but after I lost my job and 6 months without a job and money and confused wht career to pursue I feel frustrated everyday and sucks, feeling no freedom to go out there and be free and independent,No money I can't do anything, family pressure, not even dating, not going anywhere. I know this is temporary I won't give up.

and all things shall pass, the answer is inside of you, keep going, see yourself becoming what you want to be and focus on that, and do every little thing you can to make it come true. if you dont give up you will succeed, you are a winner already and maybe just havent realized it already.

@Obi berjaoui I have been in your position before trying to apply for every job out there only for it to be a tough market. I signed up to pretty much every job agency I could and I even applied for jobs I didn't want to do (like waitressing or even working in a supermarket). Even finding something temporary like this till you find a better job is good for now. Maybe working on your interview skills too or even studying (self study if you have to) on business or research more of the field you would really like to get into. This will all help keep your mind active and ready for when opportunity arises.

To find your passion / purpose - Brainstorm and find things that make you happy, do you like helping others? do you like fitness and health? do you love cooking? creating art? perhaps an office environment or maybe the outdoors, the possibilities are endless. Start with trial and error, I tried so many different things till I found what my passion/purpose is and that's when I fell in love with coaching and became a coach myself.

Make the best of the time you have now, it is great that you are keeping fit, eating right. Read some books, maybe attend some free networking events? have you tried meetup.com? expending your social network is a great way to make new connections and even try out a few things to see if they interest you. There are meditation groups, walking groups, business groups - I suggest check it out.

Keep up with the positive attitude and determination and something good will come your way.

@Obi berjaoui Hi Obi, I have been there also. In hindsight, I am very grateful for the valley I had to go trough. I started to think about life, what I really want, came in to contact with personal development, etc. I suggest you keep following Leo's video's and start reading the books from the recommended book list. Some are so inspiring that they change your whole view on life. At least for me they did. Success!
