Well, each shoe is 5, the coach is 3 and the whistle is 2.

The last one, the coach doesn't have his whistle on and according to BODMAS or what ever it is that you have learnt in your education system, puts multiplication first so,

3*2 +5 = 11.

I am DMing you?

How can we be sure SoonHei is right? The coach is 5, not 3. So the answer is 20.

I thought the coach was 5 originally also, but the coach either has a whistle on or doesn't, so making the coach 3 without the whistle and 5 with the whistle.

5 + 5 x 2 = 20

No, you need to do the multiplication first, so 5*2 = 10. 10 +5 = 15

Notice also how each time you give an answer your sure that's it, but then when you look at the image again you find out a new truth that you were overlooking before. Eventually you are able to take in the whole picture and are therefore able to arrive at the correct answer. Notice also the variety of answers given by others... Come to see that ultimately truth is One... Yet it is also dependant on the context/prespective.

When we finally get the right answer let it be a lesson that so often we are judging and arriving at conclusion too quickly. Take your time and you will see the full picture.

@SoonHei i'd say two of the answers being 15 and 20. 15 is the most mathematically correct answer.

Edit: missed the coaches whistles. Then I also arrive at 11.
