I just made my first vlog video ever. I am kinda unattractive and I did not sleep for 2 days but enjoy.

I am looking for positive, helpful, constructive feedback. Thank you.

Okay so I realised it is terrible and I am remaking it. I am only looking for advice.

I didn't watch it through only now. Kinda new to video making. I set it to unlisted.

I think the biggest thing I'd change is to chop that video into several shorter ones. Also, try making more specific notes to avoid rambling.

Thank you. Appreciated.

I believe it was very bad I would rate it 1/10, I just had awakenings and my English is not good, so my mind experienced it in actuality, but I couldn't talk clearly.

I need to practice on my speaking skills.

Will delete now since it's obvious what to do.. practice! And.. master speech!

I regret nothing tho it was fun.

Making videos takes a lot of time and pratice. I have made over 100 youtube videos total on various channels and it has taken time. But I think a big piece is in the practice and not so much just making a video. You will get there! Making the content and getting it out there is a great start, keep it up!

Thanks, your message was very inspiring. I agree. So much work behind the scenes... :)

And now I wanna focus on my personality.

I talked with someone on Actualized private message and he made me realise that I left out an important thing from Tier 1: stage Orange charisma and alpha personality.

By alpha personality I simply mean stable and strong character. I did not realise how I look before I made that video.

The thoughts in my head are very different than my output..

@Aquarius It's really difficult to articulate high depth topics. Practice makes perfect though. I would consider splitting it into segments. But nothing wrong with keeping the video up and just making some additions. There is a large amount of depth on just this topic alone. I regret deleting my older videos due to the fact it is interesting to see how much I have improved. But from deleting them I no longer have any of them. So keep them there and just keep improving. I tried to comment on the actual video, but I think it got withheld. Regardless I suggested for you to research toast masters.

Thanks bro, i cannot put in words how grateful I am and how honored I am because you as a business pro made this comment, I feel appreciated and warm inside. Thank you.

It was bad and I felt ashamed. I have the video it's not gone forever.

I practice by keeping voice journal on desktop. When I re-listen them I note in simple terms nothing else, than keywords. :) And I like being spontaneous when I talk I never prepare. I wanna give speeches.

Will try making that same video 10 times, and the eleventh will be posted. Mastery takes dedication and I am pure dedication fuck yeah

I will message you about my business

@Aquarius I appreciate that. I have good luck by saying the speech several times before actually doing it. My success rate skyrockets! Practice really does make perfect. The more your practice anything you are going to inevitably get better than someone who is talented and does not practice. I do agree to the level of spontaneous though too. I would start by making yourself an outline of of the speech.

Start with a high quality hook/introduction this is going be what really keeps the viewer there is arguably more important than anything you say during the whole thing. If you fail to get the attention of your viewer they are going to click off the video early on. I would say you could almost spend more time constructing this, than doing any other part of the speech.

Now that you have that I like to try to remember a sequence of words to help keep me in track while I am on a speech. So lets say I am doing a presentation about a car brand. Here is what my outline in my head would look like

Intro/hook

Founding/founder information

-Interesting facts about founder

-Interesting facts about the brand starting

What made it so popular

-Specific car model details

-Specific advertising details

What it is currently like

-Changes with their cars

-Changes with their Advertising

Summary/Recap

So what I would do here is remember each bold section to a level where I can call on it anytime I get stuck during my speech. I can transition to the next section or it reminds me of what I am currently talking about. The other stuff is filler things that you have information on from researching or knowing the topic well. By performing it a few times typically each time you do it a little more information will just gradually come out. If you start practicing with shorter speeches it will be a lot easier for you to master the quality and consistency. Build your way up to creating even better longer ones.  Now you being able to product a long one right off the bat is great! Having that confidence and knowledge on the topic is great. But if you master it is segments you are going to cut a lot of filler and give the viewer exactly what they are looking for faster.

When you watch Leo you notice there is not really much filler at all. I assume through most of his earlier video he probably has something like the example above set somewhere to keep him on course. But with his many years of practice and mastery over the topic it is a lot easier for him to articulate stuff cleanly for hours at a time.

@Average Investor Wow so much helpful info, thanks a bunch man! I will want to make shorter videos in the beginning before dwelling in 2 hours of nonstop speech. Like Leo did in the beginning. I respect Leo a lot even though my views on enlightenment are very different than his. But that's cause I'm a christian mystic and he is a nondual sage, hehehe :D

I just made my first video. I'm so proud of myself. <3

Sorry if it sounds too catholic, I try to be a nondual teacher mystic. It's just my Blue upbringing...

I have to agree with @Average Investor , that was some amazing advice! I shoot many of my videos like 10 times. I find that this not only makes my presentation better, but I actually learn valuable insights along the way. Teaching is one of the best ways that I learn. Congrats on your new channel, my friend!

Glory to God. Blessings to All.
