I Dislike Leo~ Thoughts

I’ve concluded that I really dislike Leo’s vibe, but I am extremely greatful for his content and the balance he brings to my vibe. 

 

I am him

And he is me

Difference is in the presentation

I used to think I liked and dislike people based off the energy they give. I realized it was never about them. They are perfect. We judge people based of how they live up to our values. We characterize withought knowing lots of times. 

Its okay to be how you are, it's perfect. It's really nice tapping into love and seeing the perfection of every single person. No matter who they are and what they do. 

lol try and experiment with loving people even when you get a not so good feeling vibe. Trace it or do whatever feels right. Much love.

You mentioned in another post that you are new to meditation. I would start there. Work in some sessions meditating on the parts of Leo you "dislike". See if you can transform those feelings into something closer to what @SilentTears said. ♥️

I like some aspects of Leo and I dislike others. Sometimes I get really upset with some of his videos, because they seem to come from a very arrogant place. I even get a lot of ressentment. But many videos of him are very insightful and a delight for intelectual mind.

A) What brought you to that conclusion?  Truly curious. 

I have felt enlightenment. There is no doubt. 

 I am putting in the work everyday to keep it active. 

B) What do you think I mean when I use the word dislike?

A) I am newish to meditation, but not new new. Lol. I have done forms of meditation for years (Acting School incorporates LOTS of tools, I cannot recommend taking some sort of class enough) but I have only in the past year done the traditional style more frequently.

I also in addition have been doing guided sleep meditation nightly (It really gives my practice that extra push!) ?

(However, In a previous post I mentioned having trouble with morning meditation consistency.... Which is what I think you refer to) 

B) The form of dislike I feel for Leo is Already Love.  ? Percent

I feel deeply what my dislike for him does for the balance of the universe.

It helps me see the parts of me I can’t always see through my lens. I must have his lens. I am not complete without it.

In a similar way to how I am not complete without your responses. 

The whole of me is in constant flux of the now, and the true present, incorporates everything that is. 

I am whole by myself, but myself is also you, so the like and the dislike exist simultaneously. My lens just feels the dislike more. I just let it be what it is. 

I am aware of it. 

( @brugluiz seems to get a similar vibe Via their lens)  

Overall, 

To dislike something is beautiful. I don’t intend to force an idealized Love onto it, when it IS already love, as it is (Though, if I did, that would be beautiful and Love too!)

He has a hard time displaying his feminine energy. He tries to overcompensate masculine energy that doesn’t fit his essence in an effort to be more attractive and taken seriously. 

He wanted that. So he worked to get there, and clearly has been successful~  but it isnt quite right (hince why I sense it) 

He also takes an incredibly long time to get to the essence of his videos. ? Why say many words that can be said with few. 

None of it is wrong, it just is, but that is where the dislike presents itself. 

And, 100 percent, I am looking to broaden my  masculine energy for more balance. I wanted to draw that energy in with my title, and they showed up. Lol

It’s your journey and there is no right or wrong!  It is, what it is, and It takes a conscious and aware person with integrity to be able to observe their honest feelings, beliefs, thoughts and emotions.

From what I am reading from your posts, you are aware that you are a work in progress, which IMHO, is half the battle towards enlightenment!

I don´t, He is great. The only think I don´t like about his videos is that we all know that God is an experience that cannot be understand rationally, just by experience; however he spends hours in his videos talking about God and non-duallitiy and repeaitin himself (specilly the last videos) What is the goal of this? Some kind of inspiration to practice? I don´t know, for me just a lose of time since I read a thousend of times what he says about non-dual phenomenology in perennial philosophy literature. 

 

His videos would be much more profitable if he stopped repeating the theory and talked more about practical things. You cannot transmit an experience no matter how much you talk about it.

There's a crow on my lawn right now, it's not feeling crappy about itself because it's 100% black and not half white dove. Sometimes balance is less about a standard (where is the magical point that is balance?) and more about less ownership, identification and reaction. Contrast is not imbalance, it is balance itself.

Thank you for all of your responses. 

I have been meditating, hiking, and contemplating a lot and I have had some pretty profound insights.  

I cried during my meditation practice 2 days ago. 

I felt my masculinity in such away that I have never felt before and it was beautiful. 

I am a feminine energy heavy individual and yet I know now how it feels to be fully masculine.  

I have never felt more present with being one, and being “alone.” 

I felt complete, and I felt whole. 

(started crying as I typed that. Oof) 

After The release, I felt a since of calm that I cannot describe in words. 

I was the crow and I was the dove.  

I am still processing some. Words don’t really capture it. 

Also, Dealing with “dislike”: 

Something to ponder on: 

When a child dislikes eating vegetables, does the love disappear?

And words to end on:

The Ego IS the whole. It cannot be separated.  The dislike, the approval. They are 100 percent accurate and nonexistent. 

Just let them be.

Nothing is always going to be something through the lens of perception. Feel it. Accept it. Let it pass. 

For nothing is simply a stream in motion with an endless destination.
