The only things that exists is what's happening in your Direct Consciousness!

You are EVERYTHING you look at hear smell taste and physically feel.

I am the body the bath tub bubbles water soap shower curtain the sounds of coughing, the door and the door knob the popping of the bubbles. Typing this from the bath, I am the actualized.org/forum the typer the text and the reader and the voice in your head telling you you are only what you see in front of you.

Do this as an awakening practice. Realize you are everything and you still both. The creator is non dual.

@Peter124 How does this apply when it comes to other people/creatures?

Do they not have their own experience like me? Or does the same apply, whatever I cannot perceive in my direct consciousness does not exist.

This is where I've been stuck on.

Describe a thought.

Of course they do.

Whatever you cannot perceive, you imagine that it doesn't exist. Until you perceive it, you imagine it existing.

@Peter124 you are spot on.

What many fail to realise is that even other people are in your direct consciousness. Other "conscious" people are just a manisfestation of your direct conscious experience. You are them, they are you. It's not their consciousness and your consciousness, it's the consciousness.

It's also easy to fall into the trap of thinking that the current experience of direct consciousness is the only one available - and fail to grasp what other states of consciousness can manifest at different times.

Yeah, sure. But how can you explain that you are experiecing @LastThursday story of live and not mine?

You could infere also that there is also YOU here (as consciousness) experiencing @Javfly33 story of live, but lets be honest, you actually do not know it. You have to take a bet.

The same as I have to. Maybe you do not exist as a different POV. Maybe only the things that I see are the only thing that exist.

Because @LastThursday is just that: a story. A story builds a character by picking certain descriptions and experiences and discarding others.  @LastThursday is just a finite assortment of facts out of the infinite expanse of consciousness. So "I" am just a self perpetuating assortment of facts, and @Javfly33 is just another, a different story. Conciousness is powerful enough to create billions of individual characters and stories - and trick itself.

You're right. An inferrence is just a story you tell yourself. But "you" are also a story you tell yourself. You have it exactly, you have to take a bet, you cannot be 100% sure of anything, even yourself - everything is groundless.

You do not really exist - so the things you see are not "yours".  Solipsism cannot be the answer.

But. You cannot deny that there is something happening, that's the only thing you can be sure of.

That's the answer to the riddle above ??
