How to be productive again after depression and OCD?

5 posts in this topic

Hi Guys ,

Hope you are being safe. :-)

After my depression is over I just discovered that my attention span is now reduced to just about 2 min. and my mind looses it's lucidity within that period. Will power and mental stamina seems to be almost zero.

It seems impossible to become productive in such a state or take any real initiative to come out of this by strategizing or comprehending from diverse sources or the ones that lead to information overload, on my own.

Recommendation of any single resource that can take me step by step out of this or give a daily plan will be appreciated.

Or any idea regarding how long it takes to be productive again will help me a lot as well as that will give a realistic idea of what to expect.

Thanks!

Download and start using the app Fabulous. I think it can be used for free but, it is worth the yearly subscription. It will help reprogram you holistically using science. and its super fun.

Having a strong morning routine can really help to break out of that cycle. Put into place piece by piece, add one task until it feels good to add another. Also making lists can help you focus. Sit down with a piece of paper and write down what you want to accomplish, then your brain will start to get to work on how. No one can give you a daily plan that's inspiring enough for you to stick to, you have to create your own and allow for some spontaneity and fun too.
