Trip Report #2 4g Mushrooms - Just Key Takeaways

1 post in this topic

I did 4g of Psilocybin mushrooms on Wednesday and had major insights into my relationships and my life in general. Here are my top 3 takeaways:

1 - I have a black-hole inside of me that consists of desperate and needy feelings, and having this has caused other people to not want to be my friends or partner. I already cried and released a good portion of this, but it is still some down there. It is subtle but ever-present.

2 - I am in a state of FEAR. Fearful images run through my head at night, I experience a lot of fear in social situations, in my family life I am restrained by fear constantly, etc. I should be surprised that I didn't realize this already.

3 -  I want to become a life coach. I will readily admit that I am not 100% about this, as I think the motivation is more "escaping the rat race" than actually wanting to be a life coach. I will save money to do the iPEC coach training while also thinking more about whether or not I want to go through with this.

I wanted to ask some basic questions since I am still new to using psychedelics for emotional and spiritual growth...

I meditated for one hour straight the morning after the trip which was meant to serve as a post-trip reset, saving me from the post-trip hazy phase. This really helped! Should I do 2 hours? Is there a way to reset on the same day as the trip? That way I can get to the integration work for the many insights that come up.

Also, it is so easy to forget the insights over time, how can I deeply integrate them into my regular sober reality? For example, I realized in one trip that I need to bring more of the positive energy that I want the world to bring, but over time this realization has faded considerably. Thank you in advance! Also links to articles are appreciated. Thanks!!
