Why is life a dream and what does it feel like to know that life is a dream?

Id like to hear as many diverse responses as possible about this claim of sprituality that life is a dream. I haven't seen any good videos from leo explaining this, so any recommendations will be most appreciated

It feels like Im drifting aimlessly through life, meeting so many people, creating so many relationships and stories, feeling so many blessings and so much suffering, falling in love and feeling stone cold, seeing life as beautiful and abhorrent, everything feels like a synchronicity now, everything feels absurdly meaningful when I stop projecting meaning onto it..

I truly feel lost when I think about the fact of this dream. Realizing the dream feels like reality is completely groundless, non-sensical, yet it displays so much intelligence. It makes life feel tragic but somehow so worth it... that one day this dream will be gone... forever into the void of infinity. One day ill wake up, we’ll wake up, but until then we’re just patiently floating.

Resonating with this, yes the meaning is not ours to give it, it has its own wonderful meaning that I would have never gotten a glimpse of had I not stopped projecting my own ideas onto it. Thanks for sharing

“Why is life a dream and what does it feel like to know that life is a dream?”

Because there is no finite in infinite.

It’s actually you making the claim, not “spirituality”.

@BETGR164128 Why worry?

It's THIS. Dream or not, it's THIS. And, always will be THIS.

All concepts need to eventually be burned up and thrown away into THIS eventually, so why not start now?

@BETGR164128 it's simply knowing that there's nothing other than dreaming. so in a way, it feels exactly like this. you're not outside or elsewhere somewhere laying on a bed dreaming this dream, the dreamer and the dream are not-two

dream implies the impermanence of all things.
