Leo’s health issues

43 posts in this topic

I highly advice Leo not to follow raw diet. It doesn't work on the long term and it will make your health issues worse. I recommend he tries the mediterranean diet. Lots of legumes, meats (including liver), fresh greens, olives, and so on.

Fuck not only does Leo make money off actualized.org, but he gets his own set of expert nutritionists. I should start a personal dev channel.

Considering Leo has literally spent his entire existence the past 10 years trying to optimize his life in every conceivable way, I'm sure he's tried this lol.

A piece on health issues from the beautiful books 'Ringing Cedars of Russia':

"I've also realized that physical illnesses arise in man not only as a result of his removal from Nature or the dark feelings he allows himself. They—illnesses—can also be a mechanism for warning or even saving someone from significantly greater torments.

"Illnesses are one mechanism, one means of communication between the Great Intellect—God—and man. Man's pain is His pain as well. But there's no other way. How else can you be told, for example, 'Don't throw all kinds of things that aren't good for you into your stomach'?

I agree. Disease is the body showing symptons that your lifestyle is wrong. But nobody listens to the body. And the eastern medicine just mask symptoms without fixing the cause.

And what if you have a genetic disorder or an infection? Is that due to poor lifestyle, too?

It's hillarious isn't it? Every time one of us opens our mouths something comes out that can always be proved wrong.

That's why I mostly like to sit here in silence and watch the show :D

no but autoimmune stuff can usually be handled by at least vegan diet. that has proven right for everyone i met who lives a „normal“ life with an autoimmune condition, this is due to inflammatory proteins in dairy and meat mainly. and because the colon almost always plays a roll in autoimmune diseases. this does not eliminate the genetic problem but suppresses inflammatory immune response.

an infection in the colon would only last for a certain amount of time.

but overall it’s difficult to help anyone who mentions randomly some issues.

@JalenS23 I heard eating raw cruciferous vegetables can cause thyroid problems. Leo has videos promoting a raw diet. Might be something there, but this is all speculation really.

@Osaid Yeah they can. Which video does he promote a raw diet? From the videos I've seen he cooks the veggies.

@Red-White-Light Don't forget about the eggs. But yeah, salads usually leave me hungry cause its mostly low calories but high nutrition.

@Osaid Ok, I properly watched the video it was 3 eggs, so that makes the total 350 calories max. Also eggs are high cholesterol, that's why bodybuilders only eat egg whites.

@Red-White-Light He did say that he made this salad light cause he wouldn't be doing much physical activity that day, and that he would add salmon and other stuff if that was the case. It seems to me this video is just a general idea of what to go off of when trying to create a healthy meal.

I’m trying to send positive energy to Leo each day. Unfortunately, I’m an empath and suck at channeling.

Update, Leo straight up said he has an autoimmune disease that causes hypothyroidism passed down from his mother. (from his video on how to shop healthy)

That's the conventional approach. If docs can't find a cause they just call it "autoimmune" and say it's hereditary.

it's pretty obvious if he has an omnivore diet and he's changing it there will be weaknesses exposed, specifically the genetic ones. This can be a rocky ride, he'll adapt and do his best. Shifting modalities is what most serious health seekers are forced to do

Come on guys, he is already eating a healthy diet. It's not about the diet, as he mentions in the video himself.
Raw diet, vegan diet are not sustainable in my own experience. Kudos to those who can sustain it, but not everyone is made the same. There's no formula for everyone.
