Doing ayahausca this year BUT

6 posts in this topic

I am afraid of going crazy I recently quit all drugs completely (including coffee) because I had such a bad shroom trip four days ago. I have a three day ayahausca ceremony ticket ..is it worth it? Or do I know enough from all the drugs I’ve taken like lsd and shrooms?

I would give yourself time to recover from this bad trip... then start thinking about it. For me, ayahuasca was definitely worth it though.

I have been using shrooms, lsd, dmt etc, for nearly 30 years, at least once a year. My first ever trip (aged 12) was a bad trip. A horror movie type trip. It left what I call an Imprint, and the only way I could remove it, was by taking more lsd then meditating on the experience of the bad trip to go in to the pattern it built through my consciousness. It took me a few months of regular, sometimes daily trips, to remove the pattern I found in my system. For clarity. A pattern, could be described as a train of thought/emotions physical movements, etc etc, it needed to burn itself out as I observed it in a neutral state. I had to observe the emotions of fear with detachment. After they played out, the had no further food (emotions) so burned out its expression.  I personally would do the ayushca with the intent, of overcoming this expression of energy that caused the initial discomfort, as you will have to face the pattern of it sooner or later.

Love.
