What are some facts of life that young adults should know? 30+ wdyt?

Hey guys,

I wonder what facts older and more experienced actualizers have realized and would tell their younger self. This is mostly for 30+ folks but others can participate.  

Some time back I came across this video which asked Reddit users what are some cold-hard fact about life. I thought it had good advice so I decided to ask a similar question here.

@Derek White Find yourself before you undertake the journey of your life. Self actualize, awaken, find god, whatever you want to call it. Find happiness first.

Most people live their lives doing stuff that brings them happiness. They live in the constant cycle of not feeling good and then doing stuff that makes them feel good. You can find good feeling first, where you feel good prior to whatever you do, then the dynamics of life change. 

Psychedelics and working 1-1 with someone who's enlightened are the two most important techniques or practices on the path. Start doing these as soon as possible, don't wait until "you're ready". You are always ready for these practices, and thus you are always ready for enlightenment.

I'd say..

Pay attention to what you are telling yourself. Hell is created by that internal voice when it gets to do its thing unchecked.

A) Become aware of the voice in your head

B) of what it is saying

C) that it's bullshitting you 99% of the time

D) treat what it tells you with maximum sceptisism

If you manage to understand this, experience it while it's full at work and challenge it, that will turn you away from the destructive paths it lays out before you.

You will be going to better places.
