On The Receiving End of Pick Up ~ Advice

To the guy who cold approached me at a book store in the psychedelics/ spiritual section today. If you're on here, a shoutout to you. 

As critique: you asked for my phone number really fast and came off as a little insecure. 

I didn't really have time to even see if I was attracted to you, let alone process anything else.

What you said to me was, 

"I'm going to beat myself up if I don't ask for your number" 

As an alternative: Try and talk to me first.  Be confident. Own the space. Ask me about what book I'm looking for. 

Give me a chance to see if there could be attraction. 

If we have a connection. The energy may give us hints. 

Then ask for my digits. 

The answer may still be no, for whatever reason....

But give yourself a fighting chance first!
