Neuralink to induce permanent enlightenment

As it has become quite obvious in the past decade, neuroscience has made massive leaps in its understanding of the brain. Elon musk has developed a technology called neuralink which is essentially a brain implant which can send and receive signal to and from the brain to other brains and computers. While this technology is in its infancy, I can imagine that 30 or 40 years from now, it will be quite advanced and be able to target specific neurons. There is a very high possibility that it would be able to mimic the effects of drugs like 5meo-dmt and could be a pathway to permanent enlightenment, by continuously stimulating production of the desired neurotransmitter. If this technology becomes available on the market, which is likely within our lifetime, would you or would you not get the implant?
