Solo Shroom Insights / Trip Report

1 post in this topic

I would like to share a few insights I got from my last shroom trip. I took around 2 grams (light-moderate dose) and did them alone for the first time.

Here is the insights I received/downloaded during my trip:

1. Nobody is stopping you from feeling good but yourself

  • The key here I think is a realization - realize that you are the only thing holding you back from feeling really good. You can feel good if you want, but most the time we chose fear, anxiety, or worry. Its crazy to realize that its really you doing it to yourself. Its not some force outside of you happening to you - that’s a belief of mine that’s not legit. In reality I see how my perspective produces different emotions. And if I chose the one that produces positive that’s just what it is. Its not about morals or what's right or wrong. Its about what feels right to you. If you choose to feel good you will feel good. Its that simple. When I'm feeling down, hopeless, lonely - the key is this realization. Its up to me. Take Extreme Ownership of your OWN emotions. They are yours. If you don't like how you feel - change it! You don’t have to be a victim to your mind. Don’t let it be your master. It is your servant. You hold the power! You hold the power!
  • I think I've just had a big ego backlash the last few days. It doesn’t have to continue though, it can end and you can feel better. Its just kind of crazy how it works - you don’t realize how you got to a point to where you were so sad and down but at the same time the choice has always been with you to just be positive about it and keep going.
  • Sometimes you cant control your emotions, and that’s okay - you just watch them without judgment
  • You know when sometimes you wake up, and you just have a great day for no reason? Its like that. Nothing is giving you that feeling of feeling good but yourself - your mind. It all comes from you. Then in these days we usually have some of the best days of our lives - not because something amazing or crazy happened but because we find the joy and fulfillment in the little things. All the miracles and gold that are in our everyday lives - relationships, laughter, the sunset, the beauty of the sun reflecting off the snow. Its all there waiting - its all there waiting for us to see.

2. Everything is interesting / has depth

  • If you are connected to this source, its like everything is interesting. Everything has depth in all ways. A book I just picked up was so fascinating and intriguing to read, I have no idea but it just is that way when connected

3. Don't expect others to feel how you do

  • If you are feeling good it is the most powerful force in the world to share that with other people but at the same time you cant expect them to reciprocate it 100% sometimes people will be tired and cranky, sometimes motivated, sometimes on the same wave length. But you cant rely on that, all you can do is rely on yourself being there and basking in it. Its like people can throw off the vibe really easily if you let them, maybe that’s why solitude is so important because you touch these parts of yourself that are otherwise covered by other people or negative emotions. So first I would say to get alone, then look at how you feel and challenge why your feeling that way and see that you don’t have to feel that way if you don’t want to and if you do that there is a chance you reach this state of heightened awareness and you just feel more engaged and alive. Then you can go to work. You cant really go to work feeling like shit, your work will be shit.

4. Being highest self and feeling good go hand in hand

  • Direct correlation between being connected to your authentic self and feeling good. Maybe that’s because Joy is your natural state - and your natural state is your authentic self. So feeling good and being yourself fully go hand in hand.

“The eye through which I see God is the same eye through which God sees me; my eye and God's eye are one eye, one seeing, one knowing, one love.”  ~ Meister Eckhart
