Trying to understand Social Dynamics from the view of the creator

10 posts in this topic

Last night I went to a social party with some friends, I don’t usually go to parties but this was an exception.

fast forward to everyone in the same room, music going, and everyone doing their thing

It really started to hit me that I was creating the energy of the party. I just noticed that when I would get really excited or happy that most in the room would reflect it and vice versa when I would get a little anxious or nervous most the room would reflect it. It almost gave me the scary feeling of like I’m literally God and I can manipulate this environment even though that’s not what I was trying to do it felt that way and it felt like a huge responsibility sort of speak. Has anyone else had any situations like this?

Say a social event or other get together where you feel like you are unintentionally in control of manipulating the vibe and energy of the room even though no one told you it was up to you to do so? Like it all hinges on you?

this seems to happen to most social events I go to. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m introverted and I don’t go out a lot and I’m just new so there’s sort of a focus on me, or if this is just some form of ego driven self obsession. But I really am curious and feel like there is something here as far as frequency and people matching energy and social dynamics.

any thoughts?

Sounds like you experienced intuition & the vibratory nature of reality when you were takin it light & easy, having fun, and venturing out. I’d keep that in mind most. Then it sounds like the twoness of thinking split that sweetness and created an apparent duality...”if I can positively influence, that must mean I can negatively influence”. You can’t though. Only positively. That is how we each create fear. Other people might have beliefs that resonate with yours & match frequencies with you, and of course they might mirror expressions, tones, and body language, even thought patterns, but technically you’re not causing a lowering of their vibration. There is one source and it is good. There is not a source of “bad”, that’s duality / judgement / ignore-ance, at the surface-thought level. It’s not getting any ‘electricity’.

On the “self obsession” ...’the force’ is a fictional reference to what is actual. Letting thought go indirectly by putting all attention to perception & sensation might be a useful progressive exploration.

”I can manipulate the environment even though that was not what I was trying to do” ...“Unintentionally in control of manipulating”.   Those phrases don’t make logical sense, but come from intuition (feeling&thought), prior to dualistic “thinking”.  There’s a paper thin line between being conditional, and unconditional being. Sounds like you went back and fourth on that line, so to speak.

Maybe you are instinctually receptive at the vibratory level. You might be surrounded by muggles and not have realized it. I wouldn’t close the book on “introverted” just yet.

@Nahm Thank you for your words of wisdom! it means a lot. The more I reflect the more I feel like that's what was happening - I would let go and flow and I would tune into that intuitive "vibe", then when I put my attention on my thoughts and start thinking about it, it escaped me.

I've had the exact same experience on a trip. I felt I was the one who controlled the whole energy and vibrations of my neighborhood. When you're in such a pure god consciousness state, you create every moment all around you. You can just will it into existence. It was probably one of my favorite realizations, to know I can make every moment perfect with my pure god-given will and as the creator of my experience. Unfortunately, my ego is now in the way - so it doesn't work as well as on a trip. :D

@VictorB02 To me, this seems like having awareness of the inter-connectedness of a collective consciousness - while maintaining one's individual identity. An analogy would be like a "big brain". While at that party, everyone their was part of a "big brain" collective consciousness. Each person was like a neurotransmitter within that collective brain. One guy is like Dopamine, another like Serotonin, another like GABA. There can be a realization of "whoa, this is like a big brain and I'm influencing the activity of this collective consciousness" (similar to how your individual neurotransmitter's affect your collective cellular brain). . . For me, this is a super cool conscious state and I can usually relax into it, if I want. . . . Another related conscious state is actually being the collective consciousness. . . For example, "you" would be the entire party. This can feel freaky and scary at first, since the individual self dissolves, yet it can also be super cool with experience. . . There are also some hybrid conscious states in which there is the awareness/beingness of both the collective and individual.

For me, medium doses of psychedelics or edible cannabis are great for opening doors to these states. Yet it can be done sober as well. For most people, it would be a lot harder to do sober because of attachment/identification to a separate, individual self. The dissolution would require unraveling conditioning as well as letting go of self survival mechanisms.

@Serotoninluv Thanks for your comment. This sounds spot on and thats exactly how it felt - the whole part was connected on a different level and one facet of the party changing would influence the rest of it. Really cool to think about

In terms of SD, glimpses into Turquoise areas. That's cool if you got that glimpse while sober. I needed an energetic boost from substances for my first peaks.
