metacognition model of knowledge

2 posts in this topic

What do you have to know/learn in order to do a meta-cognition of all subjects of knowledge? Can you draw a diagram with an abstraction about how many subjects are born and transformed, the various thinking methods and systematic approaches involved, how they are upgraded and new mental models around the subjects are born? drawing back and back to the structure of thought and language involved in the deepest level and the logic frameworks that define their relationships, how assumptions are created and observed. In other world, define the very basic ideas and recognize the patterns from which knowledge of new fields is born and upgraded(sort of thinking about thinking and getting closer to knowing the knower, so instead of focusing on knowing we focus on "knowing the knower"), then we will have a metacognition model of knowledge, perhaps we can go back and back higher and higher in the abstraction to figure out how to do metacognition over that metacognition model and so on recursively until we find the most abstract fundamental ideas necessary to start this whole process again.

I guess coming up with this requires knowledge of the philosophy of knowledge, thinking and language and understanding logics in math.

The reason I ask this is because if you'll be able to think how knowledge is created and transformed and what logic is involved in most mental models, perhaps you could come up with a generic algorithm to create more knowledge and ideas or it could help you think more effectively..

@fork Yes, this ‘algorithm’ though is reality as it appears. Knowledge is the limiter, the ‘duper’, not the actuality. The actuality doesn’t have an answer, it is the answer. The “meta=cognition” of knowledge, is the transcendence of it, the seeing through it, the recognition of what is appearing.

”Screen”, is a thought. That (“this screen”) is perception.

Notice the thought “screen” is a word we learned. A label.

But the actuality, is perception...(and a thought...”screen”).

Notice the thought “knowledge” is a word we learned. A label.

This will eat itself until ultimately you logically arrive at the relationship between the Big Bang, reality, and ‘you’.
