Trying To Learn

84 posts in this topic

when slowly going back to my career work , I have realised how good amount of resistance and negativity i have developed, throwing my awareness ,is definitely curative ,even throwing awareness on my neurotic behavior too,

Journaling today july 1st 2016 is important , looking for a way to become functional in functional manner not in dysfunctional manner

keep observing behavior :)

We must know, if only in order to learn
not to know. The supreme lesson of human
consciousness is to learn how not to know.
That is, how not to interfere.

Why are you unhappy? Because 99.9
percent of everything you do is for yourself
—and there isn’t one.

We seem trapped by
the limits of our own ability. Even a sense of
having to dominate others can be
understood as a trap and be difficult to stop.

encounter with a person who is screaming and insulting( thats how an ego label them)

Present moment experience ,( i am experiencing all this , sensations are same like hands ,feets, hot and cold, I am part of it ,experiencing all this ,I am part of all this, no need to label ,its all happening , its designed to happen this way)

Outcome:peace moment after moment

I want to add to what you said here. Yes, you are right. We can't just do things for ourselves - that would be "ego." Who do we do it for? Everyone else. How? Life purpose - finding your life's calling. What is our common mission in our life purpose before we transform and leave this world? Add to world peace by using our gifts/talents, right? After all, what could be less selfish and less ego?

@jes @Leo Gura

Just wanted to share with you and Leo something else too...the clip right below reminds me of a quote:

"The world is a great book of which they who never stir from home read only one page." -Augustine

I watched it several times too-too inspiring. I know this clip is at turquoise level of the Graves model as Leo describes his Graves model clip. Few examples of famous role models for this clip would be: Gandhi, Buddha, Jesus, Martin Luther King, President Lincoln (US), Aung San Suu Kyi (Myanmar), etc. That's the way they behaved in attempt to make world peace. :)

Below is Leo's Graves model clip...

Leo, I hope you make more clips like these--biggest ah-ha moments for me. Also, your enlightenment clips triggered lots of awesome things.

Yes. If Leo makes such clips again, I wouldn't mind watching them for 2 hrs/clip. (Of course, I still go out there and do a bit of research here and there.)

@jes

There is a book on it. (See image below.) However, the way I discovered it wasn't by reading the book (or other books on it). I travelled (from US to India). Then, I started networking here and learned a lot. Then, when I saw Leo's clip on Graves model (Spiral Dynamics), things fell into place for me for my life purpose. When I got to India, the book that inspired me the most was Guide to Investing by Robert Kiyosaki. I read this book first.

From my experience, I would say reading books is knowledge, but in order for life purpose to come true, one has to take action (baby steps) toward the milestones in the life purpose. Take it one day at a time. What are we going to do today to contribute to this?

Hey jes..just wanted to tell you (and everyone) that once you discover your life purpose and continue to work on it and grow, it's hard to tell anyone about it. Just continue. Life purpose will bring you joy and peace.

2 things in life that are hard to communicate and express without getting criticized a lot...life purpose and enlightenment experiences.

We got to communicate them in smart ways if we want to contribute to world peace and share our enlightenment experiences in smart ways in order to learn from them (and learn from others' enlightenment experiences, of course). :)
