Difference in potency between psilocybin mushrooms

Hi guys, i was just wondering, whether it makes a huge difference in the effect, if I take psilocybin mushrooms from different species. There are many species of magic mushrooms that contain the active substance, but all in different amounts. Also there are many factors that have an influence on the potency like environment, whether its fresh or not, drying and growing conditions. Can I just buy any mushrooms that contain psilocybin(magic mushrooms) or should I buy a specific one?
