Who are the upcoming spiritual gurus?

10 posts in this topic

Once Eckhart, mooji, osho, Dalai Lama, Sadguru etc are all dead, since they’re all quite old, who is looking like they could be next? Or is it too unknown at this point? Since most of these didn’t have a following until after they reached a certain point; but is there any indications at all of who’s upcoming? Other than Leo if so chooses to be a guru in that sense and matures more-so.

Well, I am sure some people on this forum have the intention to become a sage, like Leo have. I do have this intention and it is my vision for the future to create and build an intentional community/Ashram, but this could and should take a decade+. My life purpose is to create conscious leaders and I intend to do this with a serious ashram in Brazil like it is the practice in vipassana retreats, not those new age "spiritual seekers" that hardly meditate or practice serious Yoga.

So, yeah, it is possible that from this community comes outs a few spiritual leaders in the next decade.

And Jim Newman isn't that old, 50?

It depends on how deep these youtube channels reporting on their spiritual journey/psychedelic reports go in their own time, if they continue into the depths, there can lots of upcoming guides. I don't know if you define a "guru" as someone that are good at explaining their awakenings, or have lived in a cave for a few decades

I find Sandeep Maheshwari on the list. He has two channels on YouTube - one dealing with self development and another with spirituality. Most of his videos are in Hindi aimed at audiences in India. But some are in English. He conducts free sessions in person with an audience and then uploads the videos on YouTube.

Gurus will die out, as the collective consciousness fully awakens, truth will be known and lived directly for it becomes pointless to talk about it if everyone already knows. There is an old saying: Those who know do not speak. Those who speak do not know - Lao Tzu

The Guru is only of use when we are in darkness, when we are embodied within light/truth/love there is no need of guru. In reality, you are your best guru, you and nature are the ultimate teacher.

Yeah, that's all and good until you fall in one of the infinite traps of the path, delude yourself, waste decades in the wrong direction that could be easily pointed to by a proper guru. Gurus, teachers, mentors, coaches whatever can be of great help, especially in a path that essentially alter reality. The biggest sages had mentors (sometimes, several of them).

A stick or a rock can be your mentor and teach you more than 10000 words of a master sage. You are not seeing the greater picture in which i speak and foresee. Nevertheless, your words hold merit from your standpoint but in an enlightened reality these concepts will naturally and simply dissolve into the either.

not really a guru but someone who I think is creating a great synthesis like Leo is Jamie Wheal.

Anyone who plans on walking this path and doing this work should entertain Jamie's ideas, he might just save you a lot of time.
