Bernie on his Spirituality: Not me Us!

10 posts in this topic

I stumbled upon this video where Bernie Sanders explains that his slogan "Not me Us" is based in his spirituality.

Your pain is my pain.

He says it is beyond intellect.

He may not realize this himself, but he understands oneness on some level.

Plot twist: Waldo finds himself.

Well, it's a very good slogan.

Bernie has been fighting for the people since the 80's, this is his last chance, but it's not about him, it's about the people he is fighting for, right now and years to come. Only the people can get him up, cause even the Democrat establishment doesn't want him. He is the best to face Trump, he just has to point out how he will provide all American citizens a doctor when they are sick in all conditions, while Trump will put money first and perhaps let you die. Republicans are worried about Bernie the most.

That is precisely why Bernie denouncers don't like that man.

Selfish people do not like being reminded of selflessness.

It takes a lot of development to reach a point where what Bernie says can be appreciated.

I do not agree with the narrative that the US media is selling right now  that it will be difficult for Bernie to beat Trump. I just think the opposite.

Trump got elected in 2016 because most of the voters were tired of fake front of traditional politicians and their corporate links. They wanted someone who is anti establishment or at least appears like that. Trump and his team understood that and exploited the sentiment in a negative way.

On the other hand, Bernie successfully created a movement back in 2016 although he lost the primary to Clinton. But the voters who resonated with him did not let his movement die. They are also anti establishment and rallying behind Bernie. No other democratic candidate right now has more loyal followers than Bernie. In my view,  he will easily get the nomination this time.

Now in the case of Trump, most of the people are disillusioned and now they can see how much of a devil he is. So his follower will weaver. Most moderate republican voters are now sceptical about him. Of course trump's team is gonna label Bernie as "communist" and try to instill fear among voters by saying that "Bernie will turn our country into present  Venezuela " but i think this bullshit won't fly. If team sanders can handle that properly, then i am optimistic that America will get President Sanders in 2021, first to be a democratic Socialist President.

Of course Bernie would crush Trump.

Trump knows it too. The devil has an intuitive sense to avoid the light.

Truth is that Bernie can be as progressive as he wants, or you want,  but world is far from ready to work with him, he will be crushed and abused and make world way worse.

The first indicator of "readiness" will be revealed tonight in small caucasuses in Iowa tonight. . .

The world has been exposed to major political leaders with sprinklings of Green (Obama, Macron, Trudeau), yet has the world been exposed to solid political green leader? . . Perhaps we could consider Nelson Mandela as a solid green leader. Yet he was the president of South Africa - with a limited sphere of influence - Bernie would have a much more expanded sphere of influence as a US president.

My prediction for tonight is that Bernie will win the Iowa Caucus tonight. The mainstream Orange corporate media has ignored Bernie as much as they could. However, one thing Orange cannot ignore is winning. Orange is deeply embedded into competition and winning - they will not be able to fully ignore a Sanders victory. So I also predict that the Orange mainstream media will minimize the magnitude as much as possible. Turnout will be high, so they will not be able to say it was low turnout of a few radicals. . . Rather, I predict Orange media will minimize it as a limited number of passionate younger people that probably won't vote in a general election anyway. A lot of young people that don't understand what socialism is. As well, the victory will be minimized as localized to a group of progressive Caucasians in a small midwest state. My last prediction: if the margin of victory is close, Orange media will try to obscure the victory. They may say that it's not really a "full win" due to margin victory. Or if Biden is close, that Biden is the "actual" winner because he was predicted to lose by 7 pts and only lost by 4. . . Or they could obscure the win through process obfuscation.  For example, they could say that 1st, 2nd and 3rd ballots are a complex system that isn't "normal" voting - so Bernie sorta won an odd system of Caucus voting.
