A couple of minutes later i realized another important aspect of this story.

Instead of taking the seafishes to his home and putting them into an aquarium, he put them back into the ocean, their natural habbit.

This in contrast to western capital(ism) invading indigenus cultures and destroying them / relocating them.

The boy also did not feel sorry for the seafishes, he just did the right thing that for another setient beeing.
