I'll never watch porn again

Feeling like trash aka feeling guilt is just your ego mechanism. You shouldn't feel guilty ever, about anything. As long as you do, you keep the train of addiction going. Only when you let go and accept "the evil" you can look at it and decide, if you want to continue or not.

Have couple of proud faps and then see, how your attitude changes.

Hehe, never thought I'd see men so excited to not masturbate anymore:D

I personally don't think masturbation in moderation is a big deal. Just my 2 cents.

Yeah, it's not, but still - it's something. It's like having a cheat day once in a week or smoking a cigarette once a day.

It adds up in a long run. And removing it completely and replacing it with sex is fucking great.

And replacing sex with karezza (no ejaculation) sex is fucking godlike.

Every time i've been on a no-fap streak i've experienced more energy and motivation. It's not easy, sometimes you have the urges and sometimes you're more aggressive, but with time it will stabilize.

Simply, your brain is not supposed to work properly with porn-binging every day. I think it's more correlated to your brain neurochemical than the sperm count in you balls by the way.

I think also that is more realistic to reduce it drastically that swear to yourself that you don't do it again ever, now im doing it 1/2 times a month. But i still feel super great compared to before, and it helps with the blue balls that can be distracting at times.

Sex drive is natural, but porn hack it in a bad way, not to mention normal sex feels 10 times better without it.

Your craving for sex isn't transcended simply by withholding from sex.

Denial of your sex drive only doubles your problem by adding on an additional layer of guilt and self-hatred.

The sex drive is not an addiction in the same way smoking is. The sex drive is still there even if you stop. It's more similar to hunger. It's also not unhealthy, like hunger, unless you take it overboard. The sperm your body generates is going to leave your body regardless, so you certainly aren't "saving it".

Of course it's gonna leave.

There is a difference between letting the body doing it on its own and feel amazing for weeks, and doing it on purpose because you're addicted (even though it's considered normal).

Now like you said, denial and hatred of self won't lead to transcendance, and this is an important part of the process to not judge oneself, it's an addiction after all.

I'm caught up in this addiction too. Currently can't seem to find a way out of it. I have no doubt that it's detrimental, there's all kinds of negative consequences.

Tell me when you succede. Surely you can stop having sex forever but it's as hard as doing heroin without addiction

I feel like trash after porn. Nothing feels worse than the lack of motivation you feel after a 3 hour porn binge...

Damn dude how do you watch that stuff for 3 hours?

5) Appreciate the small gaps of "freedom". When I first stopped chewing tobacco, my mind and body was craving 100% of the day. Each day, thousands of thoughts and cravings arose. I didn't think it would ever go away. I thought I can't live like this. I wanted relief sooo badly - every day all day. I could barley function in life. Then after about 2 weeks, there was a glimpse of freedom. I was walking in the woods and realized I went about 5 minutes without thinking about or craving chewing tobacco. This was a gamechanger. I now realized that when the ocd/cravings return, they may leave - I just needed to wait it out. Sure enough, as time went on the gaps of freedom got longer as I got distance. I remember going a whole hour without thinking/craving tobacco. I remember the first full day I went without a single thought of tobacco. This gave me lots of joy, hope and motivation. . . The dynamic with fapping is a bit different because there is no "outside" substance and sexuality is a core component of who we are as humans. Part of being a male is that hormones are released that are associated with sexual desires. So you can't really change that. Yet you can change your relationship with your sexuality such that it is free of disturbing associations with porn. . . If you have gaps in your day in which you are not thinking or craving fapping, appreciate those periods and know that you can stretch out those periods of time as you get distance from excessive fapping/porn.

I really like this, I have never thought this way before, thank you @Serotoninluv

Now guys, what about actually fulfilling your needs in another way than porn? Your cravings for PMO can actually be made out of your needs for something, needs for physical touch, for the feminine essence, etc. Maybe it is that you have a part of yourself that you cannot apply self-love to, and the only way this part of you can get that love and relief is to overwhelm you with cravings. A human doesnt actually need to watch porn, so why do you watch it? Contemplate on this from your subjective experience, dont sit and think about "dopamine", or "your brain or porn" here. The need to watch porn has all to do with how you fulfill your needs.

I have found that thinking about porn is what causes the suffering from it. You dont suffer if you smoke a cigarette once in a while and then never think about it again, but you do suffer if you smoke a cigarette after having been an addict, its the same act but a different way of thinking, its the same with porn.
