SO ... I get that you need to accept things for how they really are.. i.e. try to see things without bias.. 

I have resentment for a past action..

I really could not have done anything about it at the time as I had no idea then what was happening..

I appreciate that it happened as it led to where I am now, but I still have that regret.. More like a feeling of waste.. In fact I get that feeling of waste because I know I could have done something to prevent.. Well that what I tell myself anyways.. (I know this is bullcrap because I had no way of knowing it then)

What would you suggest to try and tidy up that last bit of resentment??

I imagine its just a residual learned response and with enough focus on what I have done to take advantage of that previous event, its association will just melt away???
