Why does Pain Inspires Us? And how to channel Pain in a Positive way.

4 posts in this topic

All of us had heard about many quotes regarding Pain & Inspiration.

"Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger".

"No Pain! No Gain!"

......

So, why is it that Pain Inspires us a lot?? And how do I use this pain to channel in a positive way?

@Maheshwar pain doesn't inspire us. Pain is necessary for personal growth though.

Love and compassion are what inspire us. The personal growth. The superhuman feats of strength or skill. Pain is a feeling that doesn't really move us on its own. In fact, we cringe at seeing others in pain.

I have a saying: if I'm working towards my life purpose, I can learn to enjoy any part of the process, *even the pain of obtaining it.* So, pain can be experienced in a positive way (that is, with less suffering) IF you're doing what you're meant to do.

Pain inspires me because how easily he took out my dude Jiraiya.

But for real I feel like pain is just an innate characteristic of feeling. It can be inspirational sometimes but definitely not always.

I'd say to channel it into positivity, think of the thing that is being gained through the pain. Find a meaning for the pain. For example, the pain of an intense workout is the ingredient needed for stronger muscles. Or the pain of a heartbreak is needed to develop a fuller capacity to love.

But obviously the idea situation is transcending pain.

The game of survival cannot be won.
