Gender Group Dynamics

5 posts in this topic

I find it interesting how social groups are arranged. There’s always the leader everyone respects and who’s the most courageous ( he usually has something about him people admire ) then there’s the second co-leader right under him the group looks up to aswell. Then there’s the unconfident one they all make fun of, then there’s the smart one who’s always looking out. It feels like a bunch of archetypes, similar to a video game!

I feel the same way..

Like characters out of a Shakespearean plot.

We certainly live in terms of pyramids and hierarchies even if we are in denial of it.

Archetypes actually help me in understanding psychological behaviours of people. This in turn helps me sharpen my intuition and so I'm able to predict the behavior better because I already know what that specific personality does in those situations based on their archetypes.

People show predictable behaviors.

These patterns become recurrent after a while, like a standard blueprint..

Recently I came across the archetype described by Emerald and I had no idea that I could analyze the situation in that manner.

The archetypes she suggested or described were People Pleasing Queen and Villainous Queen. It helped me understand my own behavior better.

Do you have links to her content where she talks about that? I'd be curious to learn more.

When you start to figure out the patterns of life, it becomes much less confusing and you feel more at home. Then you can start to have fun and test the boundaries of these patterns for yourself and become a person that doesn't make much sense, in the best way possible, and just make life an adventure or a game.
