Indulged In My Thought

Hi every one, I wanna share one thing ,as I mention earlier regarding my visit to my father's house is nightmare for me, the days are coming near ,right now i am safe and sound, but if all of sudden my mind start producing the thought of going there , I lose myself and i get worried , I would say I am feeling stressed right now , because I am supposed to go his house and there is nothing i can change in it , only thing i do is pray for myself, I am tearful now , lost focus from work, i might be calm if i do meditation , what is the permanent solution , I know i am behaving victim, but my mind is playng game against me , i have become my own enemy at this stage, I need help

Jes,

Why don't you try this- I posted it a while back, it is very good at helping us relax.  It's helped me a lot!

Also, tell yourself "it's OK"... just keep telling yourself this.  Because it IS ok to feel like this.  I think you're getting wound up because you are resisting your feelings.  Yes they are very intense and coming at you a lot, but if you tell yourself it's OK then you will quickly find inner support.

Try it.  And of course, if you need to talk you can P.M. me.

This is anticipatory anxiety fooling your mind into believing that catastrophic things will happen. Catastrophes are rare, but your mind is now imagining the worst case scenario. In this moment there is no threat. Continue using your meditation to stabilise your anxiety when you are not there.

In the long term, consider if you have to go to the house. Is avoidance an option?

Or work on building a better relationship with your father and the other people there.
