Friends With Benefits

If two highly conscious individuals of opposite sex come together for sex.

And they're complete aware of each others intention

They have it, move on and the cycle repeats.

What are the chances of attachments in this?

Would this be a conscious arrangement or just both of them falling into the same old patterns under the guise of being conscious?

Also, what is the relationship between sex/lust and consciousness

Assuming, you've had mystical experiences in life, known your true nature and stuff.

And you still keep longing for women. You recognize that as a legitimate need and go for it.

How does that fit in morality.

Considering you drop this whole concept of morality which doesn't exist anyway and you're free to act however you want.

It depends what on the person. Someone could have a series of fwbs and not get attached, someone else could get attached. Yet I would say its somewhat common for someone to think/hope they can do an unattached fwb yet find they get attached. Its human nature.

You seem to be using a fwb in a trivial, casual sex context. This can certainly happen, yet there are other contexts as well. Imagine two people that are highly devoted to their spiritual practice. The person wants to remain immersed in their practice and doesn’t want distractions that may come from casual sex or a relationship. Yet they also don’t want to be fully celibate. These two people may want to have a fwb with substance. Perhaps the two people see each other three times a month to practice spirituality, attend cultural events and explore sexuality. And they both can still dedicate the majority if their life to self actualization. To me, this would be a high conscious fwb, yet it would need a very high level of maturity.

Don’t be too hard on yourself for flouting the big rule of FWB Relationships though. We’re sure you know you should never get emotionally involved. That said, we are all human beings with the capacity to experience the ups and downs in this roller coaster ride which we term, life. I would advise you read this blog https://www.happymatches.com/blog/friends-with-benefits/friends-with-benefits-vs-dating

Entirely contingent on your self-love. If someone is starving to death, they’re very “attached” to the buffet...when you’re full, not so much.

Up to you for you, up the other person for the other person. It’s not the same in that regard for both.

The appearance is seen through. Same for ice cream for example...it tastes the same wether you know you’re it or not. You might be more relaxed, attuned, and appreciating the “magic” of it, and exploring many more flavors in confidence and nonatatchment.

Morality is yours, it’s of the personal facade. It “fits” however you believe it fits.

Considering you drop this whole concept of morality which doesn't exist anyway and you're free to act however you want.

This is the actuality right now.

I like your metaphor for this!

Attachment doesnt really exist. In the end, how can you be attached to yourself? A need for something is quite common but has only to do with yourself, so its highly personal. A highgly consciousness person has little to no needs.

@fi1ghtclub You are asking if salsa class will make someone who is a highly professional dancer a better dancer.
