Here's something that helped me.

When I was listening to a sound at first which was external. I thought I was the one listening to the sound.

Then when I started to investigate into the listener it just turned out to be a fabrication.

The point/location in the space where the listener happens or is it projected onto the space in which it happens is already aware.

And that awareness is already everywhere or nowhere. 

And everything happens in that which is you.
