How To Make Money

9 posts in this topic

Is working the only way to make money? What a hell hole, I worked in a fish factory for a day for 11.80 an hour because they had to raise it from complaints or what not, the work was just standing in one spot cleaning fishes. It was easy work, but it made my neck rigid and that led to a lot of pain, and I wasn't able to move it so I phoned them and they said to not come. God damn it, am doing surveys for 50 cents a piece which is basically pennies. God damn, I have huge loan to pay off to gura, life not looking very fun anymore.

@Greatnestwithin I'm new to it all, but the gist of it is to firstly create a bunch of content which has high value and is all free, this means blog posts, podcasts, YouTube, having social media all linked to that content.

the content builds trust with your potential customers as they feel they've received a lot of value from you

after you've built this up you can then start selling a product relating to the very specific niche you've chosen (make sure it isn't so broad)

this could be products but my fave one is to offer an information product where you can create a video course teaching certain information, an example is Leo's life purpose course, courses are more difficult to replicate by potential competition and there can be copyright issues so great for you. You can also charge a little more for them than certain products, it is recommended to be between 50-200$. Information products can be created by just reading the top books in that niche and creating it into a product. You can even outsource work such as writing blog posts and creating videos but that'd require extra money, but if you start making money you could invest it back into outsourcing to free up your time

It is important to build an email list with the visitors to your blog for example as you can directly see who is your customer base and directly market to them, email newsletters should be a mixture of offering value (free content) and marketing your product (can't be too pushy with it) and you can even do affiliate marketing to earn some extra cash on the side if you have a good platform and that's another rabbit hole to get into. To entice people to an email list you often need something to give away so they'll enter their email address otherwise they won't really care for joining and won't care about simply being updated about your site.

This is the basic gist of creating a passive income stream online, it can take time to build up your site and gain an audience, it also requires some extra knowledge like SEO

theres a lot more to it so id recommend you start reading about this stuff, once you've built something like this and it becomes successful, you can outsource and scale up your business, this means you get bigger profits and you free up more of your time, even though it can take time it's better to work a regular job for a few years while doing this and then leave than have to spend your entire life paycheck to paycheck

I hope that shed some light

I've done quite well making money on ebay and I'm now going into amazon fba. Might be worth looking into. But I think generally there are a lot of opportunities online to make some money, it's just not an overnight thing you really have to be patient and learn the techniques, but I can definitely say if you stick with something that someone else has made money with you most likely can as well

@JevinR working is only way to not earn money, but earn a living. You cannot just wait for other people to give you money or feed you by just being. It's not how the world works. Even if you choose the illegal ways to earn easy money still you have to work. You don't have to work in a workplace though, there are lots of opportunities out there to work freelance. But first, discover your value. What are you good at? What are your skills that can be turned into money? I really appreciate people who run online marketing business but it's not my kind of work, for example. And possibly it's alot more difficult than working at an 8-5 job. Ebay isn't for me either. Too stressful for me. But I love teaching while others cannot believe I can manage a classful of teenagers for hours, it's like sorcery for them.

So find your thing first.
