What would it be like to merge completely into infinite and not be back?

Would it be an eternal I AM ness timeless presence that I am right now?

The  I am ness I am right now that is confined in a body.

I'm not saying the I am ness is limited or confined. The body is limited and I do have it  Again, I don't think I am the body and I don't want to get into that debate either.

And I have thoughts on regular basis or a mental process going in the background that seem to appear as a  separate self.

Are thoughts just like a bump in awareness made out of awareness?

Does the act of arising of a thought imply any sort of duality?

Are thoughts raw data made out of awareness that are contextualised later by the intelligence to however degree the seemingly separate self is engaged in himself.

The intelligence that guides for the survival of this body mind and ego. Is that also a face of innate infinite intelligence ? 

I do remember my awareness getting expanded infinitely during the course of trip and having no sense of body or the separate self.

 Is that the pinnacle of non-duality?

Is it possible to have a living experience like that all the time while functioning?

What would it like to be, to be actually non-dual?

@fi1ghtclub To merge completely into infinity is no different than what you are experiencing right now because the infinite is absolute it includes everything. You are never separated from it. However, you can become more aware of infinite love. To be actually non-dual is to be everything and know that all is love and all is you. The pinnacle of non-duality is when there is nothing but infinite love left in your experience. This doesn't mean there is no pain or suffering to the ego, but the being is no longer identified with the ego, so it will experience everything as love, as itself. Thoughts are love too in the absolute. The absolute is so absolute that even the duality between duality and non-duality is merged.

there is no distance from where the infinite is to here... so there's no question about "coming back". The infinite is already here, as this.

In your question about, you say that you are that right now and then ask if it "would be"... There is no would be. As it already is that.

 

I think you're maybe asking about individuated "experience" POV.

From what I understand, yes. Once you awaken to your eternal-nature of I AM NESS - then that is never forgotten, overlooked again. From that point forward, there's an unbroken awareness... to infinity and beyond. So, what manifests as/before you will continue on, but you will remain ever-aware in your eternal abode. Note that it is a transition. The shift/understanding is immediate, but the embodiment and then ultimately merging into the non-doership and formlessness state takes "time". A huge shift will be made after the end of your life in this human body. So, realize your true-self now! and that's all you need to do. KNOW YOURSELF!
