Play the victim, but observe yourself doing it, don't judge it, don't condemn it, just observe it and observe the feeling in your body, the reactions of others, the loss of self esteem, and be very very honest if this behaviour is really in alignment with your life purpose. 

If you know what your life purpose is, and playing the victim isn't part of it, then you won't feel the need to play the victim
