Personally I've actually got a pretty neat setup with workflowy going on.

As for more traditional approaches:

Hi jes

I use Evernote for just about everything. I get my ideas down, use it like a journal, and carry around personal development items including a vision wall with me. I also have a private Wordpress site I set up on a free hosting service for longer writing sessions.
