Best Beginner Non-Dual Technique/Teaching?

@Matt23 That's it. Once you see the mechanisms of the separate self they start to lose power over you.

Enlightenment is the realization of what You really are. It's not hard to be yourself is it? What's hard is not be yourself, that image you really have to struggle to maintain.

I felt a little deflated.  Like "I had to do it" and letting go and relaxing doesn't acknowledge my self.  It too easy or something.

I think I've made myself to be a fighter, a survivor, someone who has to try really hard.  This goes completely counter to easing into things, letting go, and letting it come to me.

It's like "If I'm not doing it, if I'm not the one who does it, if I'm not the one who's hard work got him enlightened, then it's not very satisfying or affirming."

For most this spirituality thing is a nice little hobby. Some might get glimpses but only a few let's go completely.

@WelcometoReality This is so true.

When fully embraced and full self realization is reached the teachings are dropped as you live in Sahaja the natural state and then you get to go live your life as the Tenth Zen picture shows.

Treating this as a little hobby won't get you there though like you said, fully embracing these teachings and whatever you are doing will hopefully and then you drop it all and rest in the absolute. It's amazing.

@Matt23 Maybe put the enlightenment work on hold and focus on some personal development. Self esteem work, motivation, confidence etc. You talk a lot about not feeling good enough and validation. You're very hard on yourself. Work on this however you need to for example with visualisations, affirmations, exercise, letting go technique, creativity (whatever floats your boat but only to release energy and not achieve anything) get outside in nature, read some good books.

I've been where you are. It's about doing the things you enjoy which are good for your wellbeing first.

@Surfingthewave Very good point, people on here neglect the importance of foundational PD work due to Leo's recent videos being so deep.

Health, Fitness, Emotional Issues, Career, Relationships etc all need to be focused on as well as pure enlightenment work.

Where do you guys find your flow state?

I think I've been sidetracked by intellectual pursuits and explorations from the places I naturally find flow, like using my body, being outside, etc.  Finding the place where I'm in the zone is something I crave a lot, but I've struggled to find it.

How have you guys incorporated the places you find flow with your life purpose?

By not thinking and just doing what comes natural and spontaneous.

I found this guy, Jamie Wheal, he does a lot of research with flow states.  He runs the Flow Genome Project (https://www.flowgenomeproject.com/), and he's worked alongside Ken Wilber and integral theory in the past (he's got some interesting critics about Ken and Integral's practical effectiveness).  You can take a quick survey which then gives you one of 4 types of "flow" personality.  Seems interesting to me.
