Another Lucid Dream Experiment

3 posts in this topic

I had another dream last night which kind of threw a spanner in the works of this brains not existing carry on. I became lucid and fully aware of my direct experience, put my hand up in front of my face and looked at it. It was a bit glitchy, misshapen and had characteristics of images rendered by the Google deep mind neural network. Note that mushroom trips can have the same effects. A games console has under 1 billion transistors each of which only connects to one or two others and it can render an environment in 4k when under near full load. I am sure that the brain, which we don't even fully use, with its 100 billion neurons, each of which connecting to many more and storing any value between 0 and 1 has the power to convince you that you are god or anything else you care to imagine.

I'm not convincing anyone it would seem. Matter and consciousness co arise. The brain is the source of all thought and in a sense the brain is me but the brain is not the consciousness which is aware of each of our experiences. I guess I just woke up last night and accepted my right to be human. I know that won't fly here though. Dreams are obviously brain based due to their instability. Reality is obviously matter based due to how concrete and consistent it is.
