Discovering new things

If I wanted to discover a new thing or want to go deep into a topic, I may have to start thinking and discover the result by myself. And the objection I have is "Will I not be limited by how many words or how much language I know?" And what If I don't know what words should I use to think about the topic?

Ive always been a people observer. I believe our instinctive center can gain intelligence doing this.
