The Many Masks Of The Ego

Through deep self inquiry it occurred to me that we as humans like our language and we give a lot of meaning to words. So when we try to get a good feeling of our presence it might be useful to know all the back doors through which the ego is evading our awareness. 

I'm working on a list of all the words that the ego will try to use in order to stay hidden. For example: "if im not I, then i am myself". Later this list will help you in the initial phase of getting in touch with the feeling of I

So i ask for your insights into this by helping me expend my list.

@Amir In regard to waiting for anything, as an excuse to be in discontent in the moment. "I'm waiting for more peace" "I'm waiting for more money" "I'm waiting to deal with this emotion" takes you into the projected future and away from the present moment

that is called a strawman argument, it can fill the void rather than saying i don't know.

Actually they are very good questions and they come to me when i inquire.

The very act of asking depends on the illusion to be in tact.

What is knowledge?

Do you in fact KNOW that you don't know?

Very true, those few days I couldn't log in into this forum I almost had an existential crisis which led to a near dissolvement of my ego. Thank goodness the forum started working again or else my ego surely would have been a goner.

My ego tried to switch to a different activity, so those days I couldn't log in to the forum, I hit the gym and beach almost daily.
