Meditation makes me act "weird" and move slow

After a meditation session or if I have been meditating consistently, I tend to move very slowly and methodically. I also tend to talk less and I'm not as funny/goofy. I don't feel my regular self, but I do feel more calm/happy. People I'm close to will say I'm acting strange. Does this normally happen to people and will this just become my new normal?
