Does touching people transfer energy

11 posts in this topic

I have seen some sages or monks not allow to touch them. They wont even allow handshake i think thats why indians do Namaskar with bowing hands together.

Lately i have also thought about it, i am happy and positive thoughts are full and suddenly i meet people and i talk something negative or think that way. Today i was happy and cheerful whole morning and somebody visited my house and i touched them and soon i was talking negatively. Gladly i spotted it and suddenly changed it. Does touch transfer there energy to us?

I will be waiting here, For your silence to break, For your soul to shake,              For your love to wake! Rumi

Yess! Not only with human beings, but other creations too.

If your energy is higher than the person, the person can get your 'goodness' and since you are overwhelmingly good, you will continue transmitting that goodness , (real sages wouldn't mind a handshake)

or you can wash it away. (We had ablution, to 'purify' yourself)

Some stones can turns black of all your sins.

if you are in a state where you are still balancing your sattva , a person touching you might be a disturbance of your emotional body of feeling untouchable. you then realize you are not, what brings your emotional body in an uproar, the ego feels threatened and tries to transfer that to the energy of the other person for being so unawarely interfering as it is a call for attendance. it might be that it is not even a lower energy of the other person it is just that you realize someone overstepped your boundary of sattva you get discentered while the focus goes towards the emotion of disturbance. you can probably train that by then focusing on the other person as yourself or you try to find your center like you did. it is not a guided energy transference, could be that you are then vibrating negative energy towards the other as a projection, or that you let negative energy arise in yourself letting you swing in an unsattvic vibration. if you are sattvic and able to understand that energy transfer is more complex and not always direct through body contact you might find your center faster. i`ve experienced something like that once while i was sick and discentered, alone a person entering my magnetic field or aura field could make me throw up, was a lasting experience and i thought for a long time it was direct energy transferal. notice, the intention is not always synchronistic with the move, it`s about your own stability and any other energy field interfering with you. even if it is you who was touching.

What makes a misdeed? What constitutes a bad action?

I see.

Are there also actions that are good for you in that sense?

How do you tell them apart from the opposite?

@flowboy idk, what is good deeds?

Giving to charity, eating halal food, purifying yourself physically & spiritually. Internal purification of the heart includes (removing all ugly feelings, eg. anger,envy, jealousy, thinking you're too good, arrogant, prideful , lying etc.) ,

Being grateful to God, patience, humble, truthful, sincerity, hope, repentance, trust in your Creator, remembering death.

good family bonds.

Mentally, avoiding perceptions(assumptions). Islam praise intelligence(the mind).

Spiritually would be your faith in God. Usually sages have a strong faith in God.

Idk, whatever is bad for your health, is bad for you, hence sinful.

^EDIT : this is not true. It goes like this;

Allah's Law--> prohibited--> bad for you.(Physically,mentally,spiritually,emotionally)

Allah's Law--> permissible--> good for you. (Physically,mentally,spiritually, emotionlly)

I just remembered intention is key.

A person who purified themselves for the sake of God, is different than a person who purified themselves for themselves.

It might look identical. But it's different. Intention is key. Allah knows what is in every heart.

@Harikrishnan it is not just physical, but the non-physical too.

When I said purification by ablution, there is a non-physical aspect to it too. Which purify (the non-physical) you.

....

I think this is pretty accurate:

@Angelite  I see. So the rules of the book of revelations determine what is good and what is bad, ultimately. And if I do something that is against the rules in the books of revelation (which are the Gospel of Jesus, the Psalms of David, the Torah of Moses, and the Scrolls of Abraham, and the Quran, if I read correctly), then it is bad for me physically, mentally, spiritually, and emotionally.

It seems pretty straight forward.

But how do I know that those books are genuine?

I mean, they were written by people, and people make mistakes. It even says so here:

Quote

Followers each try their best but fall short and seek Allah’s forgiveness for their shortcomings.

And I assume that the books were written by followers.

If you had a revelation today and wrote it down, wouldn't that be equally true?

@Harikrishnan Yes they do.Thats why India they do Namaste,Namaskaram.Not just a sign of respect of the other as God but not to transfer receive the energy.

Yogis are very concious about this.

They can as well transfer the power to uplift the conciousness.

Slowly this became a social custom - untouchability discrimination this and that.Then later justified as health reasons not to get affected by contageous diseases this and that.But the reason is purely spiritual.

Yes be cautious about touch.

But is it possible to avoid that practically ?

So do the cleaning work daily ???
