Stepping Into The Unknown

It's official. Two weeks from Tuesday is my last day in the corporate world. After months of thinking about it and writing my thoughts and filling my head and heart with positive thoughts, the right time is finally here. I'm scared, of course, but more so excited. 

Two months ago I got engaged. Yesterday our engagement ended. I'm 28 years old and am just recently realizing that I have lived my entire life thinking, seeing and doing what society had told me to do. I barely even recognize myself sometimes, my perspective is constantly evolving. So many things I've known to be true are lies. 

On my agenda: Heading to Kansas to spend a bit of time with family and let my mind calm down. Remember how to read and learn how to be. Discover my passion. Chillax. Eat well. Smile. Just be.
