Strange Problem

Guys I have some kind of a problem: whenever I or someone else appreciate s me for doing a good or right thing, I am soon making a mistake at that thing. I am also aware of myself not being over-confident.

I have this problem since I was 13(I guess)

How do I fix this?

Should I give affirmations one more try?
