Non GMO and Organic

Does anyone have any good sources for looking into non gmo and organic benefits? Pro or against is fine. I've seen some stuff suggesting things like a lemon for example would be pointless to buy organic because of the skin. As well as there is a slight difference between organic and non. I grab them when it is a viable option. I buy in bulk usually, so I get it most of the time. But some things I get don't offer these though. I will dive into it myself, but just figured if someone here is into it, I would like to see some good resources.
