Post Awakening blues

9 posts in this topic

Have you guys experienced this? I feel like I really want to own my mystical experiences, identify with them as this unit, that I think I am, but it is ruining my meditation and yoga practice, so even though I meditate everyday for 90 minutes, it doesn't feel like it. It kind of like brings so many expectations of how it should be and what I am doing wrong and I just cannot see a way out... Any advice?

When a human being orgasms it's amazing but doesn't last very long and so the human being desires for it again. Likewise a strong drug feels amazing for a short amount of time and so human being desires the drug again. We have addictive personalities rather we admitted or not and we love things that make us feel good this doesn't mean we're doing anything wrong this just means we want a hit of Our Favorite Drug so don't worry too much about the awakened Blues that's just the personality wanting a fix

@bejapuskas I want to go back to the materialist paradigm, it doesn't feel right not being the mind-body.

Thanks everyone for support ? I came to the conclusion, that I have to step up the difficulty level of my meditation and yoga practice, maybe go on a solo retreat if I have the opportunity at least for 3 days. I think that what I am doing right now is too easy and it is hard to remain conscious and present when practicing. I will also cut out most of the time spent on social media (including this forum), so I don't get caught up in looking for approval and I won't tell anyone about this, actions > words. I will also make sure that I am in the present moment throughout the whole day, because when I meditate in the morning, but then I go straight into scrolling facebook while eating, that doesn't help so much... One thing at a time.

@bejapuskas I call the mystical experience seeking ego a 'suicidal spiritual drunkard'.

Bearing with the conditioned in gentleness, fording the river with resolution, not neglecting what is distant, not regarding one's companions; thus one may manage to walk in the middle. H11L2

Hahaha sounds exactly right, I love it

do you know what yawning means while tripping? If it means anything other than maybe enough oxygen in the brain...yawning a lot on my trip the other night

@bejapuskas @DrewNows (sorry, I'm on mobile)

No, I don't know what yawning means. Sorry.
