How to find enlightened people around you

Some of us might have got glimpse of enlightenment , glimpse of truth and might be struggling to find the other parts of it.May be we can discuss who's lacking where and share our experiences...

The easiest way to find "others" is to simply speak your heart. Thieves need no introduction. Really, it's uncanny.

Everybody might not be open minded as you are. You start a topic of enlightenment with normal people how it's gonna turn out we all know it. And some experiences only those people might understand who are pursuing enlightenment.

Ahh, you mean like in social situations? I wouldn't bother. Chances are very slim to find a person open-minded enough to speak directly with.

I'm considering opening up to a zen meditation group but I don't want to offend them lol.

It's much better to use your unique talents to gain friends than to talk about enlightenment in my opinion. That, or use your skills in inquiry or meditation to provide value for people and get the conversation going from that angle.

I enlighten my parents without them even knowing.

For example, I tell them a story about suffering, and then give them a conclusion that suffering is the stupidest thing to do. Not only that it's unnecessary and a waste of time, but that it's creating problems instead of solving them. Sometimes it clicks, sometimes it doesn't. I'm still figuring out how to bring the highest teachings down to level of ordinary people.

@Neph Is it about finding "like-minded", or rather, "no-minded" individuals? Or is it about your own growth?

Short story: example, plus life is a reflection of heaven concept:

1) thought

I have no clue how to be a aircraft mechanic, but that's what I want to be

2) Action

Take classes at votech, graduate, take advance courses, watch videos, work on simpler engines, get jobs for further skills, years later with all the skills and education you land your dream job, not because you want to be a aircraft mechanic, because you are.

Moral of the Story:

Prepare yourself cause enlightenment comes like a thief in the night.

And only if you qualify.

@tsuki It's been years I've been pursuing enlightenment and there's been times when things went out of control I just want to interact with people who went through the same thing or at least have idea about what I'm going trough.
