Just be Good/decent, meditate every Day for an hour. Don't judge and hate. Be kind genereous helpfull. Trust and love yourself and mystical experiences Will Come. 

More You resemble God(c'mon You know What Goodness is) easier it will Come. 

It's worthy pursuing this. Trust That You are in good hands. It's not your mind That was leading You here (it appears so) It's your Heart.

Perhaps it is because you don't know where they are coming from. Are they trying to sound smart poetic and enlightened, or is that your own resistance to what they say?
