There Are No Accidents In A Human Life

5 posts in this topic

''There are no accidents in a human life'' i think i know this quote from the philosophy of Albert Camu.I tried to understand this but its pretty hard for me to understand this when I'm imagining a car accident, how can be that case a non-accidental event ? I started to question this when i decided to take 100% responsability in life, and this question kinda intrigues me

it is like, all sickness and disease are self created, what takes root in consciousness is going to produce something, be it a reward or consequence so to speak.  The world hasnt understood the workings of consciousness, and what is being programed into consciousness every day by unlearned humans. As far as the car accident, its not so hard to understand, many become very careless in life because they function as the identity and not the being of consciousness that they really are, and that carelessness can become programed in consciousness, which may create something that appears as an accident, but in reality it was self created.

What makes it an 'accident'?

Definition: an event that happens by chance or that is without apparent or deliberate cause.

They've stopped calling them 'accidents' here. No they are 'collisions'.

Fundamentally, there are always causal factors to things happening. These causal factors can usually be controlled and elliminated. A car crash can almost always be avoided by people having more awareness and greater skills and judgement. They are rarely 'accidental'. Sure, noone intended it to happen, but was it some freak occurrance that was unforseen and unnavoidable? Probably not.

So no, there are no 'accidents' in human life. Just lapses of judgment and lack of awareness, understanding and responsibility. All things that can be avoided.

It's like people that buy a house on a known flood plain then act all shocked and surprised when one day the river floods and their house is washed away. Like it was some sort of 'freak event'. How could this possibily happen to them? The audacity of it. When you get in your car to drive somewhere do you ever considier the risk of the possibility of being involved in a crash enroute to your destination? Because those risks are inherently there as soon as you drive off. And do you consciously take steps to make sure that you avoid these risks? In fact that risk existed from the moment you got your driver's licence. It's not really an 'accident' because you chose to get in the car in the first place, knowing the risks.  When you go out of your house, cross the road and get hit by a truck, you did choose to cross that road in the first place, so it's not exactly an accident that you were there, in the road. The same road that the truck was using.

There are so many ways in which we are responsible for the events that happen to us in our lives. So many subtle ways. But ultimately everything comes back to our own choices and actions. There are no real 'accidents' just 'consequences' to our actions. If two people didn't get in their cars that day, they wouldn't have crashed in to one another.

And just to add. This also applies to people who claim to be 'victims'. I once read a quote "There are no victims, only volunteers". This is true. Whether you are the victim of an 'accident', or of a dysfunctional or abusive relationship, whatever, you ultimately are responsible for being there, in that situation in the first place. We take on responsibilities and risks every day. We make choices that put us in these positions, every day. We just ignore the responsibilities, risks and consequences, and more often than not, we assum 'it won't happen to me, today', or even if it did it's always 'someone else's fault'.

you are right there are no accidents, all sickness and disease is self created and what exist for any human being is what was created by that individuals thought process, and the consequences of that thought process and their actions.  most have no real understanding of what has been programed into or allowed to be programed and has taken root in their consciousness.  What has taken root in consciousness is actually quantum memory, and it doesn't just pertain to our little existence here during this lifetime, it contains everything that the consciousness has experienced since its beginning, unless some parts of it has been cleansed from consciousness, and the cleansing of the consciousness cannot be cleansed by the human identity.  the programing, false belief system, warped perception, ego, desires of the human identity will not allow that. so it must be done from another place and there is only one other place that can be done and that is to experience as a being of consciousness functioning as consciousness and not a human being.  If there are victims, it too is self created, but often there are many excuses for these things as i am sure that you are aware of given your text above.
