How Do I Study After Enlightenment

3 posts in this topic

Hello everyone

I hope someone can help me out on this.

After I realized the truth of no self I can nor know how to study since now I'm not able anymore to create constructs, models and images in my mind, neither hold thoughts or apply them. I feel like I forget everything right in the moment after I think it.

I've watched Leo's video on how to study effectively where he talks about eliminating distractions, taking notes and such but I feel like none of that could relate to the way my "new" mind works.

thank you

Haha thats just your ego saying that. I think that the ego is telling you that you got enlightened and using it as an excuse to slack off. Don't worry its happened to me. You are fulfilling this self fulfilling prophecy you have created.

Don't resist whats going on, do some introspection and mediation on why this is happening. Thoughts will arise giving you answers and follow the thoughts through buy asking "if this is a 100% true why is it so bad, or what does this mean or say about me" until you get to your limiting belief of why you can't study. Its just a form of procrastination maybe look into that.

I can't speak because i haven't become enlightened, but i don't see why your mind should just stop working. You can still use it as a tool.

Also, there isn't really a stage where you realise the truth of no self. The experiences of your true nature come in a progression that lasts your life time. Normally, realising your true nature is a continuous effort not a discrete event. I think your thoughts are misguiding you.

Assumptions are the devil. You haven't the slightest clue what enlightenment actually is. It doesn't make sense to make up ideas about something you know nothing about. What kind of crazy conclusions can we come up with if we have incomplete/incorrect data about something?

How about the world being flat? How about the sun travels around the earth? Even worse, what about the incalculable superstitions that were/are running amuck around this wobbly planet?

Real discoveries are made by people who disregard potential ignorance and are not afraid to explore and venture into the unknown despite what may happen. Are you one of those, or not?

What you resist, persists and less of you exists. There is a part of you that never leaves. You are not in; you have never been. You know. You put it there and time stretches.
