You are not God, God is you

92 posts in this topic

You are not God, God is you. Understand the difference between these two. You are literally non-existent, meaning that God Alone exists and ''you'' exist only as God, nothing else. There is nothing that makes you up that gives you individual existence. All that you are made up of is God, including the ego and the mind. Just something I became conscious of some minutes ago. I don't know if anyone will understand what this means.

I would venture to guess that most here understand this so well it no longer needs to be said.

@Conrad "There is only God" 4 little words that say it all.:)

Haha right on. But there is only God implies that you are only God as well, which is my point. This is advanced stuff, only to be made conscious of. Identification with the ego and mind must be transcended, identification itself must be transcended. God has no identity, He is pure Being, pure Isness. One must literally go from being unconscious to being conscious.

Reading this thread stimulated my third-eye chakra. I have no idea what that means.

You know all this stuff only in your mind, including everything Leo says. Tell me what I meant if you are conscious, tell me how you understand it or if you became conscious of what it means?

@Conrad In the Absolute there are no requirements. Not even the requirement to know oneself.

The opposite would be something like.

“I am the spirit that negates.
And rightly so, for all that comes to be
Deserves to perish wretchedly;
'Twere better nothing would begin.
Thus everything that that your terms, sin,
Destruction, evil represent—
That is my proper element.”

Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Faust.

That happens to me very often... like a gentle push on the forefront, right?

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?

There isn't really much more to say because it's quite simple when one becomes conscious of God. Basically, you realize: God is I, there is Only God, God is Everything. All is One. The One is All. God is Omnipotent, All-knowing, All-intelligent, All-Good, All-loving. Basically, God is God. It's as simple as that when one becomes conscious of God and oneself as God, there is nothing else.

That's why I keep repeating myself because my mind knows only God and there is no knowledge except: There is only God. Everything else is a misconception.

The Kyballion had a nice phrase to emphasize this: "God is in the earthworm but the earthworm is far from God"
