Why did LSD completely eradicate my constant tiredness?

6 posts in this topic

Usually throughout 80% of my day i feel incredibly tired and out of energy. Im like this i think most likely because i really don't move around much. But when i took LSD, i noticed that feeling of tiredness i constantly feel was completely gone. I had so much more energy, i stayed up for 20 hours without being tired once; i only went to bed because i had a stomach ache i didn't want to deal with.  I noticed that everything i would do, i would do it with a very high sense of involvement. When talking to my friends  i was so much happier & more willing to make jokes and laugh with them; the conversations we would have we so much better too. It seemed absolutely everything i did throughout the trip i just did better. I was just an infinitely better person. I think this is all because i actually had energy for once, so i was much more able to be myself. It was like the LSD turned the experience of being tired into something else almost, I'm not sure, but the bottom line is i was energetic.

So I'm wondering, why would LSD do this? To my understanding LSD doesn't just “give” you energy like methamphetamine would, so if thats the case, how was i able to be so energetic, and how could it just eradicate my tiredness and turn it into energy?

Amphetamine and the similar pills just block the sleeping center of the brain ( receptor blocking ) and makes you more active > on the surface level

LSD, though helps you to open yourself up to the realm of infinite intelligence where the healing occurs if you enter.

your tiredness was a disfunctionality of your body and you got healed from that trip > removing root cause/on the deep level

looking forward to tripping with psychedelic someday soon. I'm also feeling down and tired all the time.

There are two types of low energy states. One is related to mind, consciousness being dull, and this one LSD and concentration meditation can cure giving you more vivid senses and conscious experience. Second is tiredness from exercise or not getting enough sleep which can be cured by stimulants like caffeine, amphetamine, etc but if the average human would take a high dose of amphetamine he would still be in a state of subtle dullness from the perspective of meditation/psychedelics even tho on a gross level he would be extremely energetic, a large part of his subconscious mind would not be available to consciousness.

From conscious experience perspective:

The lowest, ultimately dull state is a deep sleep. Also states like high dose benzodiazepines, alcohol, anesthetic drugs

Highest, ultimately "awake"/conscious state would be something like 30 mg of 5-MeO-DMT

From gross level dopamine, motivation, energy perspective:

The lowest is also deep sleep. Also, withdrawal from stimulants, overall sleep deprivation, extreme fatigue from exercise

The highest would be something like a high dose of methamphetamine on fresh receptors

@Enlightenment @hamedsf So is there some sort of practice i can do to fix my tiredness? Id much rather do meditation than workout. I also noted i really never got hungry after only eating one meal.

Working out and getting your heart rate into the 75-85% range for 30 minutes, 3-5x per week has phenomenal healing effects and promotes energy. Various breathing techniques help too. If you’re taking shallow breaths throughout the day, that’s going to affect your energy levels as well. If you drink caffeine, id stop this too, as their are going to be energetic consequences with chronic caffeine intake. Your body is capable of providing energy on its own. If you smoke weed frequently, this can also create lack of energy. Ive also personally found that if Im dehydrated, I have less energy than when I am hydrated. Finally, 60 mins of meditation per day also has helped me with my energy levels, surprisingly (in addition to being the tool for investigating reality and the self). Also sleep!! This one is so huge.

@Justincredible76 Because you were using your intellect too much, to the point where it tired you. So you put something in there that turned the TV off for a little bit and you got relief.
