Strong determination sits vs self-inquiry

8 posts in this topic

The first enlightenment experience I ever had was during a strong determinaton sit. Personally, I find self-inquiry a very slippery and frustrating process and I can't really get a grasp on my empty nature. However, I find long sits better because my thoughts eventually drown out and I get to expereince reality for what it is (instead of contemplating who I am and trying to focus on that). For some reason I find strong determination sitting not as difficult as I thought it would be so I can imagine If i did it more often it would it be more effective. However, I haven't tried self-inquiry that extensively so I'm not sure. WHat are your thoughts?

@Cody_Atzori Have you tried Leo's Creating the Experience of No-Self? It's guided by him self-inquiry. Helped me to awaken when he first released it 4 years ago.

Thanks, will watch this!

Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.
