Is awareness alone enough ?

Hello all,

Iv noticed that despite meditating and being aware of my judgements, comparisons, thoughts in the moment, this doesn't necessarily make these things subside. can you actually remove the underlying judgments, envy etc that you feel in the moment, or is this something you just have to be aware of knowing the same emotion will occur in the future if the same situation occurs.

"you" cannot make those things stop. Neither should you focus on stopping them in my opinion it's counter productive. Keep observing and focus on what you want to be rather than what you don't want to be.

The catch is that there is nothing but awareness alone.

You're just an observer. That's your true identity.

You aren't a changer, a manipulator, or a controller. That's an illusion.

Surrendering is the only thing you can do.

Even people that realize Awareness (which is not the same as being "aware of") still have tons of patterns running that do not resolve themselves just by Awareness.
